What is BusCon Connect?
BusCon Connect is a funded* program taking place at BusCon designed to connect bus buyers with vehicle, product and technology solution providers in various settings that promote relationship building – including one-on-one meetings and exclusive networking functions. We are providing scholarships that include travel and lodging for a select group of operators who apply and meet certain qualifying criteria.

Let us take the burden away. BusCon will provide you with your own personal schedule, matching your procurement needs with the best suppliers in the industry. We will ensure that you maximize your time at the show and find solutions to your needs. All at a minimal expense to you or your operation!

You'll be able to select to meet with any of BusCon’s exhibiting companies in categories that include: vehicle manufacturers, software, technology, video surveillance, bus components, HVAC, mobility/special needs, training, alternative fuels and more.
How Can I Participate and What Does it Include?
The first step for all prospective buyers is to fill out the brief online application that asks for information about your fleet and planned purchases coming up in the next 6-18 months. Your application will be reviewed and you will receive notification on whether you have been accepted within three weeks of submission.
Those accepted will receive hosted travel that is limited to: roundtrip airfare to Indianapolis, a two-night hotel stay, roundtrip transfers from Indianapolis airport to the hotel and scheduled meals in the program.* In exchange for the hosted travel, all Operator Guests agree to participate in 12-minute, private, one-on-one meetings with exhibitors and attend the networking dinner reception and a breakfast. Operator Guests will also have free time to visit the exhibit hall and attend education sessions on their own.
How Does it Work?
We will match up the participating buyers and exhibitors for one-on-one meetings based upon corresponding needs. Each buyer will be provided with a personalized meeting schedule along with detailed information about the exhibitor you will meet. Exhibitors will have received information about you in advance so they will be able to prepare for a discussion tailored to your specific needs.
Other elements of the program include a special networking reception and a breakfast for BusCon Connect participants only. These informal activities help you meet prospective suppliers and form meaningful connections in an environment conducive to relationship-building.
The 2019 application is coming this fall.
