Transit Maintenance Forum

BusCon's Transit Maintenance Forum (TMF) will give senior-level transit maintenance professionals the chance to learn about some of the latest issues they are facing in their operations.  Holding this event at BusCon also affords transit professionals the unique opportunity to network and share challenges with peers and keep up-to-date with the newest vehicles, technologies and products on the market today.

Transit Maintenance professionals can attend for $120, which includes the Transit Maintenance Forum, as well as access to BusCon's full educational program, networking events and 2-day exhibit hall access.

Using prognostics and telematics can help maintenance teams be more efficient while saving money. This session, hosted by Allison Transmission, will focus on how prognostics can help eliminate unnecessary oil and filter changes by monitoring various operating parameters, while telematics can help provide remote analysis of transmission diagnostic and prognostic information across an entire fleet of vehicles.

With cities now taking a more holistic view of how to move residents to job centers, schools, and recreational activities, the solution has become a multipronged approach that includes public transit, TNCs, mobility on demand options, micromobility, and more. Our Keynote Address, delivered by Head of Global Policy for Public Transportation at Uber Chris Pangilinan, will take a look at how forging partnerships is helping to improve mobility in regions across the nation, as well as bringing new types of transportation providers to the table. It will also include Iowa DART's Luis Montoya who will provide a microcosm of how regions are adjusting to this new model.
